Weekend sessional playworker

The sessional playworker will manage and develop a safe, stimulating programme of play and physical activity for children between the ages of 5-14. Through a structured weekend programme, the weekend staff team will enable children to achieve outcomes that fit with the overall ethos of the organisation. In doing so, the post holder will ensure that our children’s play provision conforms to the latest quality standards and legislation. The post holder will be expected to adhere and uphold the aims and objectives of the Calthorpe Community Garden and its Equal Opportunities and Safeguarding Children Policies amongst others. There will be additional hours on offer during school holidays and potentially for an after school project if desirable.
