    A group of Latin American elders who have been practicing traditional Latin Dance for years at Calthorpe. If interested, come and speak to the teacher to see if it is suitable for you

    Location: Early Years

    Stay and play for children aged 0-5 years old held in a friendly community garden. The children will have access to toys, nature and sensory activities. Parents will be supported by qualified early years play workers. No need to book.

    In need of a free after school club? We’ve got you covered! Bring your children down to Calthorpe to run off some steam and build up their sports skills.

    Fancy joining a community choir? Or just something new? Try out our brand new community choir on Wednesday evenings 6.30-8.30pm. Our wonderful choir leader Cadiz Salazar is volunteering her time and expertise to teach our community a thing or two.

    Community lunch is open to all. We offer a freshly cooked vegetarian meal for a suggested donation of £5 per person. Come along, meet new people and enjoy delicious food. No booking required but register as a member when you arrive.

    Come and learn about our 8 composting systems in our wonderful community space. You will be led through the sessions by Marta Pascal Argente, who is our Environmental Education Facilitator.

    Repair classes run by Stitch by Stitch. Anyone is welcome to bring along their project and they will teach you how to repair your clothes.

    Come learn Taekwondo in a friendly and fun environment. Open to all young people 7-14 years old

    Wear loose comfortable clothes and trainers. We practice mostly outdoors however, if it is too cold, we go inside! “It is a time to switch off your busy mind"

    Vegetarian cooking class with Angus. If you are wanting to develop your skills in the kitchen and make friends at the same time, come along to our vegetarian cooking class. You will be lead through a variety of different dishes from around the world

    This is for mixed ability people who have a passion for football. After the football, enjoy tea and coffee with board games and quizes. A great opportunity to meet new people and have fun.

    The Winners Group specialise in providing a space for language learning and exchange. Sessions are free and always have a food offering.
